Little about me, I am a yoga teacher based in Ottawa, Ontario. My yoga journey began a decade ago during my senior year in high school. Since then, it has remain my true companion, and when I have lost my way it has always been there, waiting for my return with no judgment about my absences. After a decade of personal practice and hours of self-driven study, I eventually pursued my 200 hour RYT in 2018. I teach various yoga styles including: Beginner, Hatha, Hot Yoga, Power Yoga, Vinyasa flow and Ashtanga.

My teaching incorporates the athleticism of Ashtanga, including lots of Vinyasa, while bringing together elements of strength, flexibility and balance, encouraging students to break through their perceived limitation both on and off the mat. I like to keep my students inspired with strong creative sequencing, challenging them both physically and mentally, while weaving in a focus on body awareness, good alignment and effective breathing.

Off the mat, I am a self-proclaimed minimalist, hence the name The Minimalists Yogi. I am a health and wellness junkie and love all thing green (green juice, matcha, plants, etc.). When I am not flowing on my mat or making my next green juice you can find me spending hours with my nose in a book reading at a coffee shop, or working out at the gym.

This platform is an extension of other existing platform - It’s a place to share and spread the joy that I’ve found within my own yoga practice, pursuing a minimalist lifestyle, and living a life focused on health and wellness.
